Editorial Team & Standards
Editorial standards in continuous use since 2024.
- Signal Provider Reviews Editorial is an independent team that ranks 100 trading signal providers using a six-criterion methodology.
- No affiliate links. No links on this site generate commissions or referral fees.
- No payment for inclusion. No provider can pay to be ranked, ranked higher, or removed from negative coverage.
- Individual editor names are not published, by policy, to insulate the editorial process from external pressure.
1. Who we are
Signal Provider Reviews Editorial is the editorial team behind the 100-provider rankings. The team consists of working traders, performance analysts, and editorial staff who have collaborated on the ranking process since the publication founded in 2024. We work as a board, not a single editor.
We do not publish individual contributor names. This is a deliberate choice for two reasons:
- Editorial independence under pressure. Ranking signal providers comes with consequences. Some providers are flattered; others, who scored poorly, are not. By keeping editor identities private, we reduce the personal pressure on individual decision-makers and allow ranking judgement to be made on the merits.
- Ranking integrity. Signal-provider rankings are commercially valuable. If editor names were public, there would be predictable lobbying. Anonymity at the contributor level is a structural defence against commercial influence.
2. How rankings are made
The ranking process is described in detail at methodology.html. In summary:
- Six equally weighted criteria: Verified Performance, Signal Clarity, Risk Management, Transparency, Value for Money, Subscriber Experience.
- Each criterion scored 0.5–5.0 stars by editorial deliberation.
- Overall score is the average of the six.
- Providers are reviewed quarterly. Significant performance changes trigger interim re-evaluations.
- Provider feedback is welcomed but does not change rankings without independently verifiable evidence.
3. Conflicts of interest
3.1 Financial relationships
Signal Provider Reviews uses no affiliate links. We accept no payment, sponsorship, advertising, or commercial relationship with any candidate, provider, broker, or third party that could influence the ranking. We do not run sponsored content.
3.2 Vector Ridge disclosure
Vector Ridge (vector-ridge.com) is the #1 ranked provider in our March 2026 rankings. We have no commercial relationship with Vector Ridge — no affiliate fees, no sponsorship, no advertising, no commercial partnership. Our review of Vector Ridge applies the same six-criterion methodology as every other provider review on this site. The Vector Ridge ranking is based on its World Cup Trading Championship verification, six-market coverage, transparent pricing ($20/month per market or $50/month for the All Models bundle), and verified founder track record (Darren O'Neill, 2023 Trading World Champion).
4. Standards we hold ourselves to
4.1 Verification before publication
Every reported performance figure is verified against at least one independent third-party source before publication. Sources include World Cup Trading Championships, BarclayHedge, HFR, SEC filings, and AuditedTrader.com.
4.2 Sourcing transparency
Every reported performance number is sourced. The full data-sources list is at data-sources.html.
4.3 Corrections
Errors happen. When identified, we correct them publicly and promptly. The standard for correction is the same as the standard for publication: verifiable, sourced, accurate.
4.4 No retroactive ranking changes
Once a quarterly ranking is published, the rank order does not change until the next scheduled update. Performance numbers may be updated when better-quality data becomes available.
5. What we do not publish
- Predictions of future signal performance. We rank historical assessment, not future returns.
- Sponsored content. No provider can pay for editorial coverage.
- Provider-supplied review copy. All review content is original editorial.
6. How to reach the editorial team
Editorial inquiries, factual corrections, conflict-of-interest concerns, or methodology questions can be sent via the contact channel listed at about.html.
